Each week this summer we plan a fun thing to do. Nothing big or expensive. It's pretty much just me and my 10 yo daughter as my 16 yo isn't into this stuff anymore and my older two kids are adults with their on thing going on.
Today my 16 yo went to his girlfriends house. They were going swimming, but it's raining, so I doubt that happened. It has been so rainy this year. My 10 yo and I went to Build A Bear, that's what she picked this week. She made her a dog and named her Bella. We then had lunch in the food court. I had my yummy Sarku and she had Subway. We had a good time today.
Last week we went to Mt Cheaha and hiked, had lunch, and she went swimming a little bit before the rain came in. We had a small bonfire and roasted marshmallows one evening. We finally got the pool up so they can swim.....when it isn't raining. It has rained almost every day here for the past 2-3 weeks.
That's what we have done so far this year. This is their 2nd week out of school. Looking forward to lots more FUN!!!
