We made it to another FRIDAY!!!
This has been a pretty good week. The kids only have about 2 1/2 weeks left before they start back to school and as usual, I'm not happy about it. Wednesday my 11 yo had a friend come over for a sleepover. I took them to tumble and we got home and they ate about 45 minutes later. Then...my daughter decides to get sick, poor thing. She complained of a headache and then she started vomiting. Needless to say, they went to bed early that night. Yesterday we went and watched Hotel Transylvania in 3D, such a cute movie. Then we went to Dillards and did some school shopping. My daughter found her 6 outfits, she even got two rompers. I have been trying to get her to try those rompers for a while, but her friend was with us so that influenced her. And, of course, we had to go to Sonic for slushies and Mosserella sticks, lol, my 11 yo is addicted to them. We got home and the girls decided to go swim and it decided to rain and storm so that didn't last long. We still had a great day and they had fun together even though my daughter got sick and they couldn't swim.

Week Back To Normal After Vacation
It has been a week back to normal life and I still feel like I'm behind. We had a good week though. Tuesday, me and my 11 yo went to watch Paddington2.
Monday she had tumble and I wasn't too happy when we left. She has been "almost there" on her back handspring since January, at least, maybe earlier. We started a new facility in February and we went twice a week for a little bit. Needless to say....we're still "almost there". They rarely work with her on it, maybe 5 minutes at the end of class. This past week, none at all. Anyway, it bothered me then, but Tuesday night, it really started bothering me. I'm so sick of people trying to steal my kids joy. She was losing interest, not progressing, etc. Wednesday, I messaged a friend that has been trying to get my daughter into the facility her daughter tumbles at. My daughter was hesitant and trying to get out of it, but we got there and she loved it. An hour of nothing but working on her back handspring. Everyone says she has it and can do it without a spotter. I am confident that she will have it within a month. She does not want to go back to the other facility. It is more convenient and a little closer for us as well. I can't wait to see her finally making progress. So, that happened this week, lol.
My daughter was also suppose to go on a trip with my Mom. She never goes anywhere without me and her Daddy. She doesn't even sleepover at friends and when she has, she is ready to come home after a day. Anyway, we load her things up and head that way. We get the and she is crying, not wanting to go. I'm not going to make her. Everyone knows this is how she is. She has backed out of sleepovers or made me come get her, so she came back home with me.
This coming week, I plan to get caught up and we have another movie date lined up....Hotel Transylvania....I can't wait.
Enjoy what time we have left of summer break with your kids. They will be older next year and then one year. It will be their last and all they'll want to do is work and do anything but stuff with you.

So Much To Dooooooo.....
Do you ever feel like you have a never ending to do list?? Of course, the problem is me. I put so much off that it starts to pile on top of each other. Today I had BIG plans to work on my daughters room and the kitchen, but....Paddington 2 was playing for the summer flick so we went and watched that, then we went to Sonic because you know we LOVE our slushies and mozzarella sticks. Finally made it home about 2ish. I have managed to clean out two cabinets, wash a few things in the kitchen, pack up a few things that I don't want(getting rid of my apple stuff). I had this bread dish that had 1 1/2 gallon zip loc bags of candy in it....I'm taking it to work tomorrow and donating it. I had a trash bag of junk from just those two cabinets as well. My youngest daughter put some stuff from her big sissys room into a tote. We're getting ready to paint it and make it my youngest daughter's room since my oldest has moved out. I have also washed three loads of laundry(my youngest folded it up for me), created some designs for orders, running the dishwasher and cooking now. I'm also embroidering some items for family. Soooo, I guess you can say that this day wasn't a total loss after all. Maybe Thursday will be better at getting stuff done around this house.
